ABFAA State Field and NFAA Southwest Sectional

Shooter Meeting 7:00am Shotgun Start 7:30am Gates open at 6:00am 

Entry into park is $10.00 per car plus $4.00 per archer 15 and older.

There will be no food vendor, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase via donation and there will be plenty of water available on the course. 

Format:

NFAA Modern Field, Hunter and Animal Round. 

3 arrows per target. Animal round, up to three arrows per target if arrow one and two don't score.

12 Field, 12, Hunter, 12 Animal Targets. Maximum 65 yards

Shooting distances for State are the same as NFAA rules except for:

Traditional and Longbow:  All ages: 30 yards maximum (black stakes). If you are also shooting the sectional, three arrows must be shot from the NFAA age designated stakes.  After scoring the sectional arrows, then the archer will shoot 3 arrows from the black stake for state and score them for their state score.

Barebow Recurve: Cub - Black Stakes. All other ages shoot from the youth stakes (blue stake or adult stake if 50 yards and under) maximum 50 yards.  If you are also shooting the sectional, three arrows must be shot from the NFAA age designated stakes. After scoring the sectional arrows, then the archer will shoot 3 arrows from the youth stake for state and score them for their state score.
